Planned giving can give you many financial benefits while allowing you to help L’Arche Antigonish. Did you know that giving gifts of Public Traded Stocks or Mutual Funds has tax advantages for you today? If you are considering giving a gift through planned giving, you should speak to a financial or legal advisor to discover what would work best for you or contact us at 902 863 5000, ext 1 or by email:

Leaving a gift to L’Arche Antigonish in your estate planning is an excellent way to reduce taxes and increase the inheritance to your loved ones.

Become an assistant

L’Arche assistants come from every age bracket and every walk of life; however each community attracts assistants that fit with its individual charisma. Here at L’Arche Antigonish, many of our assistants are young – between 18-30 – and come to us during or after their post-secondary education. They are enthusiastic, open-minded individuals who have found something lacking in the academic world and are seeking a way to integrate their classroom learning with ‘real life’. Assistants are attracted by the spirited, youthful atmosphere of our community and the intensity of life with men and women who are mentally challenged.
